Meet the Team

Georgina Etcell (Director)

Georgina established Healthcare Placement Solutions in 2001 when she realized that being a niche operator in the highly competitive recruitment industry would create a competitive advantage.

Throughout her career in healthcare sales and recruitment, Georgina has helped shape the careers of numerous candidates. She completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1986 and has over 10 years sales experience in the Australian pharmaceutical industry. Her roles included GP Representative, Hospital Representative, State Sales Supervisor and Regional Sales Manager.

Veronica Code (Director)

Veronica's recruitment expertise is backed by 10years hand on experience in Healthcare sales and management where she demonstrated decisive leadership to recruit, train and motivate high performing sales teams. She is passionate about recruitment and about delivering the best outcomes for both the candidate and the client.

Veronica proactively develops and maintains an extensive network to keep up to date with industry trends and changes, and to source high quality candidates.

Jan Ahern (Director)

Jan began her career in the healthcare industry as a nurse and continued her focus on healthcare by joining the industry as a GP representative in 1985. Over the next 19 years she gained experience in hospital sales, state and national sales management and training.

Making the choice to work in recruitment has meant that Jan utilises her extensive experience to ensure the right people are placed in the right roles.
